Huon Valley Safaris
The Huon Valley is one of those places you must travel through when in Tasmania. Historically the Huon Valley was the centre of Tasmania's apple industry and has had a resurgence in recent years with the emergence of the cider industry. We will visit two popular cider brewers and even a gin and vodka distiller.
We start the day by visiting Mt Wellington/Kunanyi and then meander our way through the Huon Valley, tasting and exploring its produce.
In the morning our guides will collect your picnic lunch from the Wursthaus Kitchen and you will be able to enjoy lunch by the Huon River.
Tour usually departs by 8:30am from Hobart and returns around 4pm. This tour can also be customised for groups and cruise ships.
