Itinerary

K'gari (Fraser Island) Itinerary:

Day 1: Departure from Rainbow Beach

Kick off your adventure bright and early at Freedom Hostel with a mandatory briefing at 7am sharp. Get prepped for the journey ahead, form groups, and gear up with sleeping bag rentals and luggage storage. Learn essential driving tips for K'gari (Fraser Island) before setting off by 9:30 am. Cruise on a 10-minute barge to the world's largest sand island, where you'll navigate the famous 75 Mile Beach to Eurong Beach Resort. Indulge in a morning coffee and croissant before heading to the iconic Lake McKenzie for lunch, a swim, and breathtaking views. Finally, settle into your campsite for dinner, drinks, and unforgettable camaraderie.

Day 2: Fraser Island

Rise and shine for a hearty breakfast before diving into a full day of exploration on K'gari (Fraser Island). Begin with a refreshing swim at Eli Creek, then journey north to marvel at the historic Maheno Shipwreck and the majestic Indian Head. Spot whales and sharks from the island's highest point before cooling off at Champagne Pools. Lunch is served amidst the island's natural wonders before returning to camp for an evening of relaxation, good food, and shared stories.

Day 3: Return to Rainbow Beach from K'gari (Fraser Island)

After breakfast, pack up camp and embark on the Lake Wabby walk, discovering a hidden tropical oasis amidst the dunes. Enjoy a satisfying lunch before bidding farewell to K'gari (Fraser Island) and heading back to the mainland. Wrap up your adventure with a quick stop at the 4WD shed for cleaning and unpacking before returning to Freedom Hostel between 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm.

Please note that itinerary adjustments may occur due to tidal and weather conditions to ensure you make the most of your time on K'gari (Fraser Island).

Whitsundays Sailing Itinerary:

Day 1: Departure from Airlie Beach

Depart at 4pm and enjoy a mesmerizing sunset sail towards the Whitsunday Islands. Sip on drinks and indulge in a snack as you soak in the breathtaking views. Relax, socialize, or gaze at the stars. Enjoy a hearty dinner and share travel stories with fellow adventurers.

Day 2: Whitsunday Islands

Wake up to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and a delicious breakfast at 7 am. Prepare for a day filled with adventure. Explore the iconic Whitehaven Beach, marvel at the stunning views from Hill Inlet Lookout, and enjoy leisure time soaking up the sun and swimming. Dive into the vibrant underwater world at carefully selected snorkeling locations. Our expert crew guides you through the reefs and ensures a safe and enjoyable experience. Glide through serene waters on a stand-up paddleboard, immersing yourself in the beauty of nature.

Day 3: Return to Airlie Beach

After breakfast, embark on another snorkeling expedition before indulging in morning tea. Then, prepare for the exhilarating sail back to Airlie Beach, cherishing the memories of your Whitsunday Islands escapade.

Departs: 7am (compulsory tour briefing followed by departure)

Returns: 3.30-4.30pm

Whitsundays -

Departs: 4:00pm - Mon-Sat

Returns: 2:00pm - 2 days later
