Whitsundays Sailing Itinerary:
Day 1: Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet Lookout
Our adventure begins with a scenic voyage of over 100 kilometers around the stunning Whitsunday Islands. Feel the wind in your hair as we sail to the magnificent Whitehaven Beach. Sink your toes into the soft silica sands spanning 7 kilometers, perfect for leisurely strolls, lounging in the sun and swimming in the crystal-clear shallows. Later, join a guided bushwalk through lush tropical foliage to reach the breathtaking Hill Inlet Lookout. With its swirling sands and mesmerizing turquoise lagoons, it promises unforgettable photo opportunities.
Day 2: Snorkeling the Fringing Coral Reefs
Wake up to the promise of exciting snorkeling adventures at the northern fringes of the Whitsundays. Dive into the vibrant underwater world of Hayman Island, Langford Reef, and Mantaray Bay, renowned for their spectacular fringing coral reefs teeming with marine life. Whether you're a seasoned snorkeler or a novice explorer, our experienced crew will guide you to the best snorkeling spots, ensuring an unforgettable experience.
Sailing Experience
Throughout the journey, you're invited to immerse yourself in the sailing experience. Get hands-on as you help set the sails, take the wheel for a spin, and capture stunning sailing moments. Our knowledgeable Captain and crew are eager to share their expertise about the Whitsunday Islands and the Marine Park, enriching your journey with fascinating insights.

K'gari (Fraser Island) Itinerary:
Day 1: Departure from Rainbow Beach
Kick off your adventure bright and early with a mandatory tour briefing at 7 am sharp at Freedom Hostel. Get geared up for the journey ahead with essential information and group organization, including luggage storage arrangements. Learn the ropes of safe driving on Fraser Island before setting off!
Departure from Freedom Hostel to K'gari (Fraser Island) is slated for 9:30 am, a short 10-minute drive to the barge (ferry) terminal. Enjoy a scenic 15-minute barge crossing, where you might catch glimpses of dolphins or other marine life en route to the world's largest sand island.
Once ashore, cruise along the eastern beach - K'gari's own highway with speed limits! Take in the coastal views as we head north, pausing for a delightful morning tea break at one of the island's freshwater creeks. Our journey continues northward, stopping at the Maheno Shipwreck to delve into its fascinating history as a hospital ship during wartime. Lunch is served at the guide's chosen spot, followed by an afternoon dip at Eli Creek before settling into our campsite.

Day 2: Return to Rainbow Beach from K'gari (Fraser Island)
Rise and shine for a quick breakfast before embarking on the second leg of our K'gari (Fraser Island) adventure!
Our journey southward leads us to Eurong, then inland through diverse vegetation to Central Station's rainforest. Explore the area with a guided walk along Wanggoolba Creek, learning about Central Station's logging history and the creek's indigenous significance. Enjoy a self-guided walk through Pile Valley's rainforest before reuniting with the group for morning tea amidst towering Satinay trees.
A short drive takes us to the iconic Boorangoora (Lake McKenzie), where you can bask in the beauty of its pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters. After lunch, we pack up and head back to Eastern Beach, making our way southward to the barge (ferry) at Inskip Point. Our journey concludes with a short drive back to Rainbow Beach, returning to Freedom Rainbow Beach between 3:30 pm and 4:30 pm.
