  • Spend 15 minutes sharing the water with some of the largest Saltwater Crocodiles in the world.
  • Operated by an over-head monorail, the Cage of Death has you suspended above the crocs before being lowered into the pen for an up close and personal encounter.
  • Regular feeding by our crocodile handlers while you are in the cage encourages the croc's movement and ensures a good look at their powerful teeth and incredible bite force!
  • Crocosaurus Cove, located in the heart of Darwin city, showcases the world’s largest display of Australian reptiles, including the iconic Saltwater crocodile!

Day 1 : Crocosaurus Cove Cage of Death

Cage of Death Australia’s only Crocodile Dive Immerse yourself in the environment of Australia’s most mesmerizing apex predator, the Saltwater crocodile. Experience the ultimate face-to-face encounter as you are carefully lowered in to the water with a 5m saltwater crocodile for 15 minutes. Take in his intimidating gaze, feel the sheer power of his 3 tonne bite force, and learn to appreciate his true strength and resilience as a modern-day dinosaur. The Cage of Death activity offers swimmers the opportunity to get up close and personal with our saltwater crocodiles in a controlled environment that is safe and enriching for both the crocodile and the visitor.

9:30am, 10am, 10.30am, 12noon, 12.30pm, 1pm, 1:30pm, 3pm, 3.30pm, 4pm, 4.30pm & 5pm.
