Itinerary

Day 1: Cradle Mountain
Explore Cradle Mountain National Park & World Heritage Area (4-5 hours). Stand on the shore of the spectacular setting of Dove Lake. Enjoy a guided introductory walk and interpretation of the area. Take on the Dove Lake Circuit walk (easy grade 6 km 2-3 hours), or take on the more challenging walk to the lofty views of Marion’s Lookout (medium grade 3 hours). Explore the historic Weindorfers Chalet. Visit Sheffield the ‘Town of Murals’ an outdoor art gallery with murals painted across the town showing the history of the area. Enjoy a delicious stop at Van Diemen’s Land Ice Creamery & Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm to refresh & refuel after a full day in the mountains.

Returns: around 6.30 - 7.00 pm

Pickups:
We pick up and drop off at all Launceston CBD Hotels/Hostels. We pick up between 7.00 am and 7.30 am ready for our departure time from Launceston at 7.30 am.
Sunday departure returns to Launceston in time for guests to catch the 7.30 pm Redline Coach Service Launceston to Hobart
