Cape Tribulation

Cape Tribulation is a small coastal spot in Queensland with a pretty wild claim to fame. It’s the only place on Earth where the Daintree Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef literally meet. The area is packed with biodiversity, ancient landscapes and the kind of “how is this real” scenery that makes you pause mid-stride. Captain Cook named it back in 1770 after struggling to navigate the tricky coastline, and you can still feel that raw, untouched energy today. Visitors come for rainforest walks, croc-spotting cruises, freshwater swimming holes and stays tucked deep in the jungle or right by the beach.
