Highlights:
- Our Bike The Wineries Full Day ride begins with a scenic shuttle from our shop (9 Duke Street, Queenstown) to the quaint gold mining village of Arrowtown.
- Here we cover mountain bike fitting, navigation, bike safety and (very importantly) winery information.
- Choose to explore Arrowtown and visit one of the cafés, or hop on your bike and get straight into your scenic morning ride.
- From Arrowtown the trail follows the beautiful Arrow and Kawarau rivers to the Kawarau Suspension Bridge – home of the world famous bungy jump.
- From here spend the afternoon biking at your leisure along the Gibbston River Trail, using our informative winery map to visit as many of the cellar doors linked throughout this easy riding trail.
- Enjoy a relaxed lunch en-route or picnic at one of the many wineries.
- We will pick you up at 4:30pm from either the Gibbston Tavern or your winery of choice for your shuttle back to Queenstown.
- The riding distance to the first winery is 15 kms.
- To get all the way to the end of the wine valley you’ll end up covering about 25 kms.

Day 1 : Bike The Wineries Full Day
Departure from Queenstown: 9.30 am sharp Transport from Queenstown to Arrowtown + navigation and briefing: 30 – 40 min Ride 15km along the stunning bike trail to the first winery: 1 – 2 hours Spend time exploring the venues of Gibbston Valley. We’ll pick you up from your venue of choice: 3 – 5.5 hours Shuttle transport back to Queenstown, departing at 4:30 pm sharp: 30 – 45 min Total Trip Duration: 7.5 hours The riding distance to the first winery is 15 kms. To get all the way to the end of the wine valley you’ll end up covering about 25 kms.

Returns: 4:30 pm from a winery of rider's choice in the Gibbston Valley, arriving back in Queenstown approx. 5:15 pm.
