07:30 - Board the transfer vessel ‘Reef Experience’ at Cairns Marlin Marina for breakfast, check-in and your journey to Reef Encounter 09:30 - Arrive onboard Reef Encounter for your ‘Welcome & Safety Talk’ before being shown to your room to settle in and relax 10:30 - Water Session: Time to snorkel for all guests before lunch 12:00 - Lunch is served in the dining saloon 13:00 - Water Briefings: Certified Diver Briefings / Try Scuba Diving Briefings 13:30 - Water Session 15:00 - Reef Encounter moves to another spectacular outer barrier reef location 15:30 - Water Session: Scuba dive or snorkel time. Reef Encounter operates daily transfers to and from the Outer Barrier Reef. Start and end your tour any day of the week, including Christmas day!
Tour starts on board the transfer vessel Reef Experience (Marlin Marina, Finger A - lower level) at 7:30am the first day of your tour. You will be transfered back to Cairns from Reef Encounter via Reef Experience on the last day. Arrival back in Cairns is approximately 4:30pm.
An additional Holiday Surcharge of $100 per person is applicable on tours between:
- from the 28/03/2024 to 02/04/2024
- from the 23/12/2024 to 01/01/2025
Optional POB extras:
- Hotel transfers: Inner city - $20 per person, return; Outer city/Northern Beaches - $40 per person, return
- Dive guide for certified divers - $15 per dive (package price available POB, please contact us for details)
- Alcohol/drinks/snacks from the bar
- Wet suit hire - $5 per day (Stinger suits are provided during the wet/summer season from November to May)
