Day 1: K'gari (Fraser Island) & Whales in one day

World Heritage listed K'gari (Fraser Island) is the largest sand island in the world and offers unparalleled natural beauty. Spot the amazing variety of wildlife in the UNESCO recognised Great Sandy Strait Biosphere and Fraser Island including dolphins, turtles, dugongs, birds, whales and dingoes. Enjoy the tranquillity of a guided kayak tour through natural surrounds or experience our thrill seeking water sports on the calm, protected waters of Hervey Bay. Snorkel or swim in crystal clear waters with turtles, rays and many fish species. Take in the spectacular views as you explore the ancient sand dunes or walk along nine kilometres of secluded, white sandy beaches. Get up close and personal with Majestic Humpback Whales. Be on the lookout for Humpback whales and experience the thrill of getting up close and personal with these majestic creatures as they frolic in the calm, clear waters off K'gari. Marvel at their sheer athleticism as they explode out of the water in a spectacular breach or be awestruck as you come face to face as they spy hop right next to the boat.
