Day 1: 1-day Southern Lights Tour
Experience three days in one with the Southern Lights tour, featuring an exhilarating ride to Whitehaven Beach, pristine snorkelling reefs, and guided Whitsunday Island National Parks walks. Ocean Rafting provides ultimate access to the stunning and iconic Hill Inlet beach, along with special snorkel sites for a memorable underwater experience. This tour visits both the northern and southern ends of Whitehaven Beach, allowing approximately two hours to relax on the world-famous white silica sand. Enjoy a guided bushwalk to the spectacular Hill Inlet Lookout for breathtaking views and capture photographs of the stunning swirling silica sands and aqua water. Spend over an hour snorkelling at Border Island, Dumbell Island, or one of the "secret" snorkel spots, and marvel at the amazing hard and soft corals of the fringing reefs. The main difference between Ocean Rafting’s two tours is that the Southern Lights offers more beach time, while the Northern Exposure provides more snorkelling time.
Sunsuit/Wetsuit hire is payable on check-in $8 per person - FREE for students/seniors and children (0 -14).
Courtesy coach pick-ups are available from local hotels, motels, caravan parks and hostels from 7:45-8.15am for the Northern Exposure tour and from 8:45-9:30 am for the Southern Lights tour. If you are making your own way to our office for check-in, please make sure that you arrive by 8am for our Northern Exposure tour and 9am for our Southern Lights tour. Courtesy coach pick-ups must be pre-booked 24 hours in advance. Please reconfirm pick-up time/location by calling Ocean Rafting.
For scenic flights and Fly + Raft packages, courtesy coach pick-ups are available from 06:10 am-1:45 pm. Please reconfirm the pick-up time/location by calling Ocean Rafting.

Drivers will wait no longer than 5 minutes after the scheduled pickup time.
Queensland Public Holidays Surcharge: Public holidays will incur a surcharge of $20 per adult, $10 per child and $50 per family (2ad and 2ch) on the Northern Exposure, Southern Lights and Fly Raft package, as well as charters. Tropical Style Lunch is $20 per person is payable direct on check in.
Drinks, snacks and sunsuit/wetsuit hire are optional extras.
