Adventure Sailing - Summertime

2 Days - 1 Nights

Sailing, Snorkelling and Sea Kayaking will provide an action packed adventure. Summertime is a classic timber ketch handcrafted in 1945 by master shipwrights. It has a rich history and has been lovingly restored and immaculately maintained in the ultimate sailing comfort.

The vessel boasts an on board freshwater hot Jacuzzi and full air conditioning throughout the comfortable bedding and saloon area downstairs. Explore the fringing Great Barrier Reef by snorkelling or jump on one of the sea kayaks and glide over the colourful coral gardens where you will see an array of tropical marine life.

Meals prepared fresh on board by our crew, the spacious decks with plenty of shade and the on board hot tub will make relaxing easy.

Summertime offers snorkelling. All equipment is carried on board and is available to our guests free of charge.

Itinerary

Day 1 : Airlie Beach to Whitsundays

Sample Itinerary Day 1 Depart Abell Point Marina and set sail towards the largest of the islands, Whitsunday Island. You’ll have lunch along the way in Hook Passage enjoying the views and getting to know your fellow passengers. Our friendly guide will take you over to Tongue Bay and complete a short bush walk up to Hill Inlet Lookout. After taking some amazing photos you’ll head down the path to Whitehaven Beach and enjoy a couple of hours relaxing on the world famous beach. Once everyone is back on board you’ll enjoy some sunset snacks and a beverage on your way to the anchorage for the evening. Enjoy a BBQ dinner on deck and a photo slideshow of the days photos.

Day 2 : Explore and Whitsundays to Airlie Beach

Day 2 Wake up in the beauty of the islands and have breakfast on deck while the crew prepare your activities for the day. You'll be snorkelling or kayaking over colourful coral gardens that are all part of The Great Barrier Reef. Here you will see an abundance of tropical marine life such as turtles, tropical fish, sea anemone and more! Once everyone is back on board, the crew will cook up a BBQ lunch and you’ll set sail back to Airlie Beach. ***There are no set itineraries as the trips vary according to the weather, allowing for a customised and personalised experience.
