Day 1:
Join a journey of discovery with Waltzing Matilda, sailing through the azure waters of the Whitsundays. Arrive at the world-renowned Whitehaven Beach, an icon known for its soft silica sands and tranquil shores. Spend the afternoon unwinding on the 7km stretch of beach, indulging in the crystal-clear waters and warm sunshine. Later join a short bushwalk to Hill Inlet Lookout, immersing yourself in the lush forest surroundings and spotting native wildlife along the way. From the lookout, marvel at panoramic views of the swirling sands and turquoise waters as the sun sets over this natural wonder. Return to Waltzing Matilda for a delightful dinner onboard, followed by stargazing on deck under the night sky.
Day 2:
Awaken to the gentle sway of the boat and the aroma of a freshly prepared breakfast. Set sail once more, experiencing the exhilaration of traditional sailing as you navigate the Whitsunday Islands. Arrive at a prime snorkeling spot chosen by your expert crew, diving into the underwater paradise of the Whitsundays. Marvel at vibrant coral reefs and an abundance of marine life, including fish, corals, and graceful sea turtles. Enjoy a leisurely sail back to the marina, soaking in the scenic beauty of the islands one last time. Reflect on the unforgettable experiences shared with fellow adventurers as you bid farewell to Waltzing Matilda and her crew, knowing that your journey has left you with cherished memories and a deep appreciation for this breathtaking marine playground.

Closer to the departure of your tour, you will receive an email with instructions on how to complete your waiver. We require each guest to fill this out no later than 72 hours before the tour departure time.
Please meet at the PORT OF AIRLIE (Port Drive, Airlie Beach) 8:00AM in front of marina office – management and marina lounge on the waterfront. Check-in is no later than 8:00AM
Waltzing Matilda has a BYO policy for all soft and alcoholic beverages (No Glass or Red wine). No drinks are for sale on board, so don’t forget to bring what you’d like to drink.
