2WD or 4WD?
The single most common Outback planning mistake: booking a 2WD camper then building a route full of dirt.
🚐 2WD is fine for:
- circle Stuart Highway to Uluru
- circle Kings Canyon (sealed)
- circle Outback QLD towns
🛻 You'll want 4WD for:
- circle Mereenie Loop
- circle Oodnadatta & Birdsville Tracks
- circle Any "unsealed: not permitted" road
